I lovwe just being out in the middle of nowhere... it is so relaxing and you can forget about everything.... pluse the sunsets are amazing...these pics don't even do them justice... I'm not good at taking pictures sadly, but they are still pretty cool.

Ok, here is that first climbfrom the ground... the rock we climber is named tombstone... :)

This is me by a Joshua tree.... it remeinds me of Dr. Suess... oh, and you can see that climb again in the back ground...

This is looking out towards our campground from the base of the climb (after we climbed up the boulders)...

One evening we went to the Salten Sea so that the guys that loved photography that were with us could get some cool pictures... i didn't even know that this picture was being taken until later that night when Jared showed it to me... I was just enjoying the sunset... I love all the birds in the background :)

Joshua Tree National Park

So this is me starting the first climb of my trip to Joshua Tree National Park to rock climb... don't you love how i'm right at the begining and yet I am already probably a good 30+ feet off the ground on that over hang.



This is me still working on getting up... where to go next... and no matter what Virg says, "up" is not a good answer... :p

Still working on it... looking back at it, this wasn't that hard of a climb, it just always takes me a climb or two to really get into it and try things that I haven't yet... I wish I could have done this one again after I had climbed some.

Hey Look! I made it to the top... you can tell its my first climb because of how nervous I look... haha... i hadn't gotten comfortable with the hights and the equipment again yet....

Yeah!!!! look at all the little joshua trees that aren't really all that little... you can see how big Jo is climbing so that gives you an idea of how big that rock really is.... we had to climb up boulders to get to this climb.... i will have to see if I can find a pictuer of this from the ground.

My New Look

I was just wondering what you all thought of my new look....

Sadly in this picture you can't see the small things like the black nails and the chain earing that attaches to my nose.... some really interesting guys were hitting on me though... maybe this new look could work out for me after all......

Who will be first....?

So I just wanted to let you all know that I tried out for the ballroom team on saturday and I made it.... I decided that since you all want me to blog so bad that I would jhust make you read it on here... HAHA.... The bad news is that I now have 21 credit hours and I need to talk to one of my teachers, depending on what she says and how she works the lab that I need to take I might have to go up to 23 credit hours... I hopeing she will let me go to the lab without signing up for it... but either way I am going to busy, but it will be fun. The ballroom team is even working towards a tour at the end of the year :)

River Trip

Arggghhhhh!!!! stop bugging me!!!!! I don't post because I don't have much to say. I work and thats it. yes I went on a river trip, but I didn't even take a camara with me, and come to think of it I don't even remember seeing a camare on that trip.

The trip was way fun, but I am not very good at explaining things when I am writting them down because I get impatient... so if you want to know any more besides what I am going to try and right then just call me! We were on the river for about 6 hours I belive, but since I didn't take any electronics with me I can't be sure.... I looked like I was fried, but the next day the only thing that hadn't gone tan was the top of my thighs and then by the morning after that only my left thigh was still burn. Everyone at church the next day was 'mad' that I was not burn because they had seen that I didn't put on any sunscreen and they had like caked it on more then once. :)
The only time that I went out of the raft during a rapid, was hen me and this other girl decided that we wanted to float a rapid so the fist big hole and we both jumped out.... well that is all for now, as I said if you want to know any more then you can call me, imagine that! I just figure that you really don't care that much if you are to lazy to call me. ;)

So you know those really annoying chain emails that you get... sure some are way funny but you also get the way stupid ones that say if you don't send it to a million people then... blah blah blah... well for thoes of you who don't text... you get them there too... it is really quite obnoxious.... especially when your bored out of your mind and you get a text and your thinking yeah somebody loves me and then you open it and just see that one of your idiot friends believes the stupid warning at the bottom ar just wants to annoy the crap out of you... well I thought that this one was kinda funny, granted it could be really syupid and I just thought that it was funny because everything is funnier when your running on practically no sleep :^D

Well I thought that was kinda cool, but you never know... once I get a good nights sleep I might look at this and think 'what the crap was I thinking!!!'

So today I was able to take most of my ceramic stuff home and I think that I will have all but two of the things by the end of this week and possibly all of it depending on the fireing times and such... and I did finish my quilt top this last week, but I will have to post the pictures after finals week or if i get everything done that I need toI will try to put atleast the pic of the quilt top on, i'm only not doing that in this freakishly long blog because it is not entirely possible to get a picture of it bymyself in this small of a space (ie. my apartment) so i will have on after I have my final class period today for quilting at 2:30...

Wow this post is quite long... thats not like me usually... I guess I just have a lot to say and oh no I'm not done yet despite the fact that I have probablly already put you to sleep or bored you to death.... there is more... there is always more.... muhahahah....

now this is just totally random but I wanted to say to Heidi and Scott..... HAPPY MOVING DAY!!! I'm sorry I couldn't be there to help... I really am, I'm not just saying that no matter what you think...
Oh and heidi and Randy I was wondering if you have seen any possible job openings up there.... I'm getting a little worried... I don't know where i'm gong to live this summer {:o

Backing Packing Trip Pics

So the first three pictures are of and arch called Jacod Hamons arch I was so scared climbing up there.... there were so many lose rock that we were climbing up... but the view was so worth it!!!!
the first picture is from the highest point, which it took a lot of coaxing to get me up there, looking down so that you can see both sides of the arch...
The second one is taken from the lowest poin in the arch, which I personally don't think is very low..., looking up at me and kenny at the highest point.
the third one is a pic that we took when we were coming up to the arch, before we decided that we were going to climb up into it.... It makes me wonder if Virgal's group climbed up into it...

This picture is a little blurry and I'm sorry for that.... I choose the wrong one... I couldn't tell which one was which from the tinny pics... It is of me, Emma, and Emily on the first day...

The backpacking trip was sooooooooooooo much fun!!! I wish that it wasn't over... :'( I had the best group ever and I love them all sop much now. Our team work was amazing and it was something that just happened without trying... imagine that... the pictures will have to come later because I am getting them from people in class tomorrow... hopefully... well I have to get going.... love you all tons!

Important Question

I am trying to decide if this lay out would look ok for my quilt... the shaded areas would be black... the big squares would be the pieced squares... the smaller ones would be the fishy print... the little strips near the edge would be black and random pieces of the other material. I was wondering what you honestly think... would it be to busy?

Backpacking

So for our backpacking class this week we went up fair view cannyon and we dug snow caves... it was so much fun but also so hard... my group's was not very big because we ran into an ice problem... none of the caves were huge because we only had so much time but we decided to see how many people we could fit in the biggest one... we got 17! needless to say i felt a little closterfobic... it was so much fun and i got to know some of the people in my class a little bit better... I think that I am going to have a lot of fun!!! :D yeah snow caves!!!

Emily's Birthday

For my roommates birthday we decorated her side of the room and put confettie everywhere. We also made a cake and had a bunch of people surprise her and sing happy birthday. She said it really made her feel good and that no one had ever done anything like that for her and I am so happy that i was able to do it for her and make her so happy :D

Quilt

So yesterday i went to richfield with Evencio and Tyrell and I ate at Wingers.... it was so good... yummm.... thats all....

20's dance

So on saturday night i went to a twenties dance*... it was a lot of fun. They had an open bar, black jack, and really good music. The first 2 hours there was a dj... the last 2 hours was a live jazz band... I got to dance a lot. Many of the people there dressed up in clothing from that time period, but I didn't...but I still had a great time*

The Dance... (Dah dah dah)

So... You all wanted details about the dance... well we had dinner at our appartment... it was decorated like we were in a little kids coloring book at the park... we sat on the floor and had sandwitches ad such. After we finished eatting we palyed some card games for a bit...
Then we split up and got ready for the dance... then we went to the dance... so yeah... oh and by the way, these pics where taken after the dance so my hair was no longer done and I really don't like these pictures so you should just be happy that I'm showing them to you... no laughing at me...
After the dance we changed into more comfortable clothes and went to deny's... that is always fun... By the time we got back from deny's the other couple that was in our car was pretty much asleep so we took them home and then me and Tyrell went to his apartment and watched the movie Mr. Beans Holliday... I was funny... then we went on a maverik run then called it a night.... or a morning (whatever you want to call it... it was 5:00)
Now before I get these questions from anyone else.... No we did not hold hands.... No I did not Kiss him... No he did not kiss me... and Yes it was a ton of fun...

The Dance

I had so much fun at the dance, I can honestly say that I think yhay was the best date I have ever been on... I will have to post more details and some pics later though because I am really not feeling that great at the moment soi am going to go back to bed... again...

Which One?

So I need your opinion... I'm not sure wich one to wear.... The first one is the 'cute' option. This one doesn't make me look the skinniest... but it is cute...

Now this is the 'hot' option... I really like this one but I am wondering if you think it is too short in the back... I will have spandex shorts on. I like this one because I have never worn a 'hot' dress I have just worn ones that would go under the 'cute' catagory...

So I really need your opinion on this... I want to know what looks the best on me....

I'm not Dead

contrary to popular belief I am not dead...
anyway... so this is what I pretty much decided.... boys are confussing... but i did get the guts up to ask someone to sweethearts, now I'm just worried weather they are excited I asked them or not... I think to much :P...
So I am loving my new room! my roommates are way cool and so nice! I think that this is going to be a lot of fun and much more enjoyable then last semester!!! Well I think that is all for now, I got to go because I am on the phone with Heidi P.
