Now this is the 'hot' option... I really like this one but I am wondering if you think it is too short in the back... I will have spandex shorts on. I like this one because I have never worn a 'hot' dress I have just worn ones that would go under the 'cute' catagory...

You are so cute. First which is the most comfortable. You will be dancing and having a picnic on the floor. The blue one looks (although is it just a picture) like it fits better. the bottom white stripe on the black dress looks like it is suppose to go straight around and not go higher in the back. Anyway please stand up straight, shoulders back. We love them both but the blue one looks like it fits better - unless we are so out of style that the black one fits great and we can't tell the difference. Do you remember the lavendar dress Heidi wore to a dance? I will have dad blog it and won't say what it is for .... everyone will wonder WHAT!? Finally you do look great in both. Let us know what you pick unless of course you pick your nose. Love....Mom and Dad
The pink strip is not suppose to go straight... if it was then someone didn't know how to use a sewing machine... ahhhh... i hate being a girl.... grrrr I hate decisions....

Emily, this is your other sister Heidi. ;) First of all, both dresses look atractive on you, ...and blue looks good on you (at least in those pics). But my vote would totally go with the second dress! The "hot" one. It makes you gorgeous legs look great!! And I think it is very becoming of your girly figure. ;) And the black one didn't look too short in the back, to me. But then again, it is a picture I'm judging, not the real thing. And if (like mom said) you are having a picnic on the floor, then I change my vote to the blue one, because it looks longer and it would probably be more modest to sit on the floor in. Either way, you will look great! Post pictures of the final decision, okay? :) Love you!
I would say go with the black one...but I'm not going to say anything in regards to "gorgeous legs" or "girly figure". You are my sister...that would be weird... But if it is less comfortable, then don't wear it. Comfort comes first, especially if it will be a long time or if you are eating on the floor.

Wow! I've been missing out... is your blog also a chat site? I like both the dresses, they are very cute/hot/stunning whatever lingo is in. I don't think the black is too short to wear in general, however I wouldn't wear it to a dance because you swing and cha- cha and ramba and Latin dance and...
